1. Hardware Connection

This Blu-ray recorder is designed for Windows XP / Vista / 7. Please follow these instructions to install and use your new device.

a) Locate a free USB 2.0 socket on your computer and connect the Blu-ray drive via the supplied USB data cable.

Windows will automatically detect your new Blu-ray drive and install the relevant driver.

To check the assigned drive letter for your Blu-ray recorder, please open "My Computer" on Windows XP or "Computer" on Windows Vista / 7 to find the drive.

b) Usually, the computer can supply enough power to the device via the USB data cable alone, but under certain conditions, extra power may be required.

In this case, please also connect the additional USB power cable between your DVD drive and another free USB socket on the computer.

2. Software Installation

a) Insert the software disc into your computer and refer to the "CDBurnerXP ReadMe" file to determine which version of CDBurnerXP to install.

b) Locate the correct version of CDBurnerXP and double-click the installation package. This will start a wizard which will guide you through the software installation process.

c) Once the software installation is complete, you are ready to start recording CD, DVD and Blu-ray discs! Please visit http://cdburnerxp.se/ for additional help with the CDBurnerXP software, or to download the latest version.

Please note, to play DVD-Video or BD-Video discs, additional software is required (not supplied).
