Here's what you need to do if you've just switched on your new Home DIY CCTV kit and are seeing this screen:

1. Simply click on the "Apply" button without entering a password, and you should be able to begin using your device without further problem.

2. If this does not work, please power down the DVR unit and leave it for 2 minutes, before switching back on and attempting step 1. again.

3. If you are still having problems please submit a service request and we will be in touch as soon as we can.

If you need help with your Storage Options product, then you've found the right place. We'll do everything we can to help you.

In the first instance, please use the menu to the left to find your product and see if we have a solution to your problem. Failing that fill out the support form and someone will respond to your request as soon as they can. Generally we get back to customers within a working day (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays) although at busy times (e.g. after Christmas) it may take a little longer.

Warranty

In the event that your product is faulty, we offer the following warranty:

  • Cams (Baby, Road, Sport) - 12 Months
  • CCTV - 12 Months
  • Flash Memory - 5 Years
  • IP Cameras - 12 Months
  • Optical Drives - 2 Years
  • Scroll Tablets - 12 Months

Our support team will endeavour to resolve your issue in the first instance through online and telephone support. However in the case of defective products will create an RMA number (Return Material Authorisation) in order that you can return your product to us for inspection.

Please ensure your delivery is properly packaged (if possible use the original packaging) and ensure the valid RMA number is clearly visible on the outside of the package. Please return products complete with all original accessories and proof of purchase. Please make sure you back up any data stored on your device before returning it to Storage Options.

Once we have received your product we will determine the appropriate course of action; either:

  • Repair the product
  • Exchange it for another product (like for like)
  • Exchange it for a new product

We will aim to either repair or exchange your product within 5 working days. Your original warranty period will remain effective for any repaired or replacement product you receive from Storage Options. We reserve the right to retain any faulty products that we have already replaced for either a like for like product or a new product. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss of data once a product is returned to us. We also do not accept any liability in the case of optical media being damaged by external devices.
