Scroll Excel – Independent Review

Since topping the list of Budget Tablets on the Gadget Show we’ve been inundated with questions and orders about the Scroll Excel. The Gadget Show put the tablet through it’s paces throughout a routine day. Since then Tim has bought a Scroll Excel himself and shared his in-depth thoughts and user experience with everyone over on the Ebuyer forum.

Storage Options expands tablet range by launching the Scroll Special Edition 8” Android Tablet

Storage Options, a UK-based technology brand, has added the Scroll Special Edition 8” Android Tablet to its popular Scroll tablet range.

Available directly from Storage Options, the Scroll Special Edition 8” operates on Android 2.3, boasts a large 8” screen and comes free with an accessory pack that includes an HDMI cable and audio cable for connection to an HDTV and / or sound system respectively. The Scroll is priced extremely competitively at £119.95, including the accessory pack, making it one of the best-value 8” tablets on the market.

With 8GB of memory as standard, expandable to 32GB with a micro SD card, the tablet makes a great travel companion. It also supports a wide range of video formats and with its traditional 4:3 aspect ratio screen makes it perfect for reading eBooks.

Storage Options launches the world’s first personalised tablet for the youth market

The miScroll, which retails at £119.95, is the fourth addition to the Scroll range, is the only tablet in the world to have a replaceable high capacity battery, which could come in handy on long journeys, late nights or during busy periods.miScroll

With 4GB of internal memory and colourful exchangeable covers, which are available in a variety of vibrant colours and distinctive designs, the miScroll would make the perfect birthday present. Its features include a 1GHz ARM11 processor running on the Android 2.3 Operating System and built-in camera offering an expansive multimedia and social networking experience.

The tablet, which only weighs 370g, operates as an excellent portable multimedia hub thanks to the built-in mini HDMI port for Full HD output (1080p) and a mini USB port to connect handy peripherals like keyboard or even a powerful sound system.
