Earlier this morning we sold the last of our Scroll Excel tablets that were made available to buy directly from this website (if you’re looking to buy one, follow this link for a list of resellers who can still deliver in time for Christmas). This means that if you place an order with us now that you will receive delivery in January.
Orders Already Placed Will Deliver Before Christmas
We just wanted to reassure customers that have already placed their orders with us that we will be able to ship for delivery before Christmas. What appears to be causing some confusion is the fact that we will receive 3 deliveries in December, and the date you will receive your order, depends precisely on when you placed it. Hopefully the table below is clearer:
When Will I Receive Delivery of My Scroll Excel?
Orders will be shipped according to the following schedule

At the moment we have no plans to resupply to 8″ wallets. However you can still buy them from a number of retailers; one being Amazon:

What delivery dates do you have for the Scroll 7 Essential as it is only listing dates for the Excel?

Sorry for the delay in response, have been overwhelmed with queries!
There should be stock available to buy now of the Essential – try Bennetts or Hughes (from our where to buy page) or Google it.
The next shipments of the Essential are due 16th December and 20th December. There is free stock available in these (as far as I am aware) so orders placed with us or retailers should be delivered in time for Xmas.

Can you use Skype on 7″ Scroll excell
Yes, but not video.
This is common on a lot of Android tablets.
Is there any way to get it working with video? Or is it simply down to Skype not currently supporting the camera?
What camera has it got btw. Maybe I can drop an email to Skype. You never know.

Thanks for your quick response to an earlier mail we received our scroll excel a day early. However I seem to be having trouble connecting to my wifi. it keeps saying secured with wpa?wpa2 psk. I am stuck help!!

Hi, today i purchased the scroll essential 7”in heatons and icannot market on it it says its running in applications but not in home screen or menu

Hi Chloe, our device does not support market but there are several app stores you can get access to. We don’t really offer technical support on the blog, so if you need help with your product you can contact our support team by phone on 0844 248 7191 (local call) from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and they can help you with apps etc. I hope that helps.
I see in your FAQ’s that you say that the Scroll Extreme has an inbuilt microphone, yet Ebuyer says it does not. Could you please give more information on this contradiction. I bought the Scroll to make Voip/skype calls but without a microphone this would be problematic. I would appreciate your advice on this.
